Back of the Envelope is the British Council Architecture, Design, Fashion team’s blog, for us to share the development of our projects around the world, and report on what’s happening in our field in the UK.
Everyone in our team contributes to this - Vicky Richardson (Director), Alison Moloney, Ellie Smith, Evonne MacKenzie, Lauren McKirdy, Kendall Martin-Robbins and Niamh Tuft, but you’ll also see content from our collaborators - architects and designers from the UK and overseas.
We hope that between us we can give an insight into the range covered by our projects, exhibitions and conversations about British design that are taking place every day. We hope that our blog captures the spirit of the Back of the Envelope title, being immediate, instinctive and informal.
